I hit one of those times this week when I couldn’t get motivated to pick up a full-length book and I just needed something short that would leave me with a good feeling. So I turned to one of my go-to authors, Alyssa Cole. Alyssa writes beautifully in all her different genres, creates compelling characters, and teaches you something along the way. Despite it’s short length, Agnes Moor’s Wild Knight is no exception. It was charming, fun, sexy, and only took about half an hour to read. This medieval tale is inspired by a real historical event that Ms. Cole explains in her brief author’s note at the end. It was a perfect little bite of happiness that can be squeezed in between life’s other things.
